Brian Scott’s Entrepreneurial Journey

Brian Scott brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for technology to the table. Growing up as the “child of an IBMer,” Brian’s journey into the world of technology began at a young age. Thanks to an IBM employee discount, his father bought Brian a then state-of-the-art home computer, which he quickly mastered. Inspired by his father’s enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology, Brian delved into programming and computer science, laying the foundation for what became a remarkable career.

After initially considering a path in chemistry, Brian’s trajectory shifted when he seized the opportunity to join IBM through their Inroads internship program. As it turns out, IBM didn’t offer the Inroads program for chemistry. So, Brian’s mother, then a guidance counselor in high school, suggested he apply and tell them he was going into computer science. He followed his mother’s advice, got accepted, and graduated college with a computer science degree.

After college, he embarked on a career at IBM. After a brief stint in the corporate world, he established AggieTechnologiesnologies North Carolina in 2004. His desire to support smaller businesses and home users who often fell through the cracks of larger corporations fueled him. Brian built AggieTechnologies from the ground up, starting in his own garage.

Do you own an IT business serving customers with excellent support? Are you looking for a long-term relationship with a trusted partner to grow your business? You may be a great fit for the Carolina Digital Phone Collaboration Partner program.

Since our Collaboration Partners serve as the first point of contact for support, not everyone can qualify for this type of partnership. Collaboration Partners receive a generous recurring monthly percentage of their referral’s monthly bill. Collaboration Partners can also sell hardware and charge for installation to increase their revenue. We can also supply the equipment to the client, but there is no commission paid on the equipment or installation.
