A proud North Carolinian, Nicky was born in Chapel Hill, grew up in Winston-Salem, and after college moved to Greensboro where he started an exciting adventure building a successful technology business. While Carolina Digital Phone’s footprint now extends across multiple States, Nicky always remembers with heartfelt gratitude where he came from and the immeasurable support he has received along the way.
Being a lifelong Eagle Scout, Nicky lives each day according to the noble principles that are embodied by Scout Law. He is passionately dedicated to the community and a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church, serving on various boards and committees. He is also a member of the Crescent Rotary Club in Greensboro.
Just as “customer-first” describe Nicky’s professional life, “family-first” describes his personal life. He is married to his wonderful wife Beth, who was a career CPA for the global accounting firm EY, and later an auditor for a Fortune 100 enterprise. Nicky’s son Bradley and his family live in Cary, NC, where he is a successful Principal Software Engineer for a global technology leader. Nicky’s daughter Meredith is pursuing her Masters of Accounting degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and will soon start her career with EY.
In his spare time, Nicky enjoys doing ancestry research to explore his family’s roots. He also loves hiking in the Appalachian mountains, along the beach shores, and in local parks. Recently, Nicky started putting a plan in place to fulfill a lifelong dream: RVing across our great country to visit as many National Parks as possible. A new adventure awaits!
