Please share a little bit about yourself with our customers:
I was born in Chapel Hill, NC, grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and after college, I settled in Greensboro, NC to start a long-term adventure building successful technology businesses. My passion is to be the very best at everything I do. I am a lifelong Eagle Scout and always live by these principles. I also a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church, and have served on various Boards and committees. In addition, I am a member of the Crescent Rotary Club in Greensboro.
I am a family-first person. My wife Beth was a career CPA for the global accounting firm EY, and later an auditor for a Fortune 100 company. My son Bradley is married living in Cary, NC, and has a successful career as a Principal Software Engineer for Red Hat in Raleigh, NC. My daughter Meredith is pursuing her Masters of Accounting degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and will soon start her career with EY.
In my spare time, I love spending time doing ancestry research on my family’s roots, and recently I have started dreaming about RVing across our great country, with my goal to visit as many of our National Parks as possible. I also enjoy hiking in the Appalachian mountains, along the beach shores, or in local parks.
What do you love most about your job?
Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you that I love EVERYTHING about my job! Every day is a new adventure. I wake up early and look forward to helping my team members serve our customers, and help them experience immense benefits and advantages thanks to our state-of-the-art telecommunications solutions.

Do you have a customer success story that you would like to share?
I have so many customer success stories that I can share! For now, the one that comes is the time that we “Saved Spring Break” for Arapahoe Charter Schools. Here is the story: Like many IT specialists in the education field, Arapahoe Charter School’s network administrator Mark Prescott planned to spend the recent Spring Break taking care of some routine maintenance tasks, and enjoying a well-deserved breather after a busy semester. However, when his school’s on-site private branch exchange suddenly went down, he was forced into action and made a quick-thinking decision that turned a potential nightmare into a triumphant success story: he called us! To Mark’s amazement, that same afternoon me and my team of experts arrived on-site and rapidly integrated the necessary SIP trunks, which linked the school’s communication server with its Internet telephone service provider. The end result was that instead of being off-the-grid for what could have been weeks — which would have been unacceptable to staff and parents alike — Arapahoe Charter School’s telecommunication system was back online and, what’s more, much improved and primed for the school’s next phase of its infrastructure development plan.
