The setup cost is usually less than $15.00 and the monthly cost to own a local telephone number in another country ranges from as low as $5.00 to $25.00 per month plus a flat rate of 3 cents per minute.

There are some restrictions for use of local international numbers that may be out of our control due to different government controlled telecommunications companies. In some countries, the telephone company is owned and operated by the government. Other countries there are privately owned telephone companies that have no regulations whatsoever, thus, much of the call quality and termination may be also out of our technical ability to make quick resolutions to issues that arise from time to time. This should not discourage you from buying an International Telephone number, because there is never a long-term commitment and the service and fees can be suspended with a notice. Other issues to consider are:

• Typically the International Local Telephone Number has unlimited call channels. In some countries the telecommunications provider has limited network resources and is forced to limit the number of concurrent call channels to the United States. These countries/cities are noted above in the list of countries with limited channels they will allow at one time. This  means only the number of channels allowed for that telephone number and from that country can call at the same time and the next person would get an ‘all circuits are busy’ message in the language of their country. Once someone hangs up and a channel is free the call can be competed.
• There is no guarantee that the person calling you in that country will not bear any cost for the call. Some countries charge for every call including local calls. This is customary in countries where telecommunication is not advanced.
• There is also no 100% guarantee of call completion.  We depend on other telecommunications companies outside of the United States to deliver these calls to our European partners and these telecom companies are not regulated by the United States Federal Communications Commission. We have experienced good service so far and expect the service will continue to improve.

If you have business associates in these countries, having a local number in their country can possibly save you and your company a large amount of money for communications costs. Additionally, if your business is expanding to one of the countries listed it makes potential customer/clients in these countries more likely to call your business.
